Nurse Practitioners

Nurse Jane Boreham (f)


Jane heads up the nursing team at the surgery. She works as a Nurse Practitioner most mornings, including assisting the GP's with the telephone calls to assess patient's requirements. Jane is also trained in Asthma and Diabetes care and works four days a week.  Jane also does a late surgery on a Wednesday evening with pre-bookable appointments.


Nurse Claire Morgan (f)

Claire has joined us full time from the community.  She will be working closely with the Doctors and the Nursing team and will be involved in minor illness, chronic diseases and unplanned admissions.  Claire will also be assisting the GP's with some of the home visits.

Specialist Nurses

Nurse Sarah Long (f)

Sarah who joined us from the communityspecialises in Diabetes and works closely with Tracey.  She is also training in Minor Illness.  Sarah works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (Thursday off).

Treatment Room Nurses

Nurse Melissa Noakes (f)

Melissa covers general practice nursing and works all day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (Wednesday off).

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Deborah Chapman (f)

Debby has a wide role and covers phlebotomy (taking blood) in the mornings and as a Health Care Assistant doing ECG's, BP Hypertensions etc in the afternoons. She also assists GP's in minor operations if required. Debby works all day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Monday afternoon and Friday morning.

Mrs Mechelle Jones (f)

Mechelle has joined us from the community and works four days a week.  Assisting Melissa the Practice Nurse and running her own HCA clinics.

Mrs Jean Clatworthy (f)

Jean is an experienced HCA and works closely with Debby, Mechelle and Melissa who oversees her clinics.  Jean covers phlebotomy, NHS Healthchecks, dressings and over health care duties.  Works Monday to Friday with Tuesday afternoon off.
