Protected Learning Afternoons 2016

Please note that the surgery will be closed on some Thursday afternoons.  This is to allow both GP's and Nurses time to attend protected learning afternoons to update on clinical issues and medical education.

Historically the surgery has remained open on these afternoons to allow patients access to reception to book appointments, collect results or prescriptions.  However, the surgery will now close in line with all the other practices in Shepway to allow all staff to attend training sessions.

The surgery will be closed from 1.00pm on the following afternoons:

Thursday 15th September 2016

Thursday 20th October 2016

Thursday 17th November 2016

The telephones will be transferred over to the out of hours NHS 111 system from 12.30pm - this means that any medical problem that requires urgent attention will be triaged by NHS 111 as it would be outside of practice hours.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SURGERY WILL ALSO BE CLOSED ON TWO OTHER OCCASSIONS FOR  THE SOUTH KENT COAST CLINICAL COMMISSIONING GROUP MEMBERSHIP COUNCIL EVENTS.  THESE DATES HAVE NOT YET BEEN CONFIRMED.
